Description
The Bailey Museum, a National Historical Site. is the childhood home of adventurer, scholar and America's Father of Modern Horticulture, Dr. Liberty Hyde Bailey.

We welcome you and your family to come and investigate one of history's most interesting people, his life in South Haven and his pioneer family that made a thriving fruit farm out of the Michigan frontier.

Come and tour our thematic gardens based on Bailey's writings.  Also a period kitchen garden, herb garden and others.
