Description
Critter Barn is an Educational farm offering Hands-on fun and learning for all ages. Our farm is a West Michigan attraction located on 36 acres in beautiful Zeeland Township within Ottawa County. We offer family fun in the greater Holland/Zeeland area: South Haven - Grand Rapids - Lowell - Kalamazoo - Grand Haven - Spring Lake - Muskegon.
The Critter Barn raises a variety of farm animals and poultry. We promote an understanding of agriculture, food sources, animal care, and the farmer’s role in feeding the world.
Our farm is fully accessible for persons using strollers, walkers or wheelchairs. We have adaptive equipment for use around the farm and in our bathrooms, so please feel free to call ahead and learn more about how the Critter Barn welcomes everyone!
We raise chickens, turkeys, ducks, peafowl, pot-bellied pigs, cows, donkeys, rabbits, sheep, geese, and goats. We teach through field trips, farm classes, public visiting, and several seasonal events. We also bring the farm to YOU through our traveling farm packages.
The miracles in creation found at our farm serve as inspiration to all who come. Farms are dynamic, changing with the weather and the seasons. Working on a farm develops character, and visiting a farm, and deepens our appreciation for the world around us.
