Critter Barn will host a special Free Children’s Admission Day on Saturday, September 5, 2026, where all kids age 17 and under will receive free entry to Critter Barn courtesy of Haworth Helps. 

 

The Critter Barn is an agriculture education organization, serving children, families, schools, and communities through hands-on learning experiences. Visitors can experience a number of special animal encounters ranging from goats to donkeys to cows all while learning about animal care from knowledgeable Critter Barn staff and volunteers.

Event Highlights: 

 

  • Free admission for everyone 17 years of age and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 

  • Farmyard Scavenger Hunt: Track down items across the farm and receive a prize! 

  • Playground and Picnic Area: Burn off energy on our new 5,800 square foot  playground, then enjoy a packed lunch or purchase a snack to enjoy inside the hoop barn. 

  • Universal Accessibility: Fully paved pathways designed for strollers and individuals with limited mobility.
