Tibbits Film Series Offers A Genre Mashup With A Holiday Musical Zombie Film!

Tibbits Film Series presents “Anna and the Apocalypse” as a unique holiday offering for fans of musicals, zombies, comedy, and perhaps the absurd, to be shown at 7 pm Saturday, December 30.

The 2017 film may not yet have reached the status of “cult classic,” but it still offers a comedic, musical, splatter fest that can be enjoyed by horror fans and musical lovers alike. During the Christmas season, the small British town of Little Haven is torn apart by a viral outbreak that turns its citizens into blood-thirsty zombies. In this genre mashup, Anna Shepard and her friends are quickly thrown into a fight for their lives as they try to save as many of their friends and loved ones as they can. Of course the action is interspersed with energetic pop songs. According to reviewer Roger Ebert, “It’s one of those rare horror movies to leave you with good holiday cheer.”

“Anna and the Apocalypse” is rated R for graphic violence. Admission is by donation. Tibbits Ghost Light Bar will be open and offer popcorn as well as alcoholic beverages for purchase. No outside food or drink is allowed inside the theatre. Runtime for the film is 92 minutes.

For more information on this as well as other offerings at the theatre visit Tibbits.org or call 517-278-6029.
