Beer, Cheese and Chocolate may sound like an unusual pairing, but the Master brewers at Guardian definitely know how to work their magic. Learn about four unique styles of beer, why they are important, and most all, how they pair so beautifully with four special cheeses and four yummy chocolate desserts. Anyone 21 and older is welcome to sign up for a reservation – but hurry, because there are only 30 seats available. The Mendel Center at Lake Michigan College, in Benton Harbor, is serving up a truly elegant, one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day celebration. The Grand Upton Hall will be magically transformed into a snazzy cabaret featuring MOIPEI, the incredibly talented and renowned Kenyan-born triplets who dazzle with an eclectic mix of vocal arrangements in electrifying three-part harmony. The triplets are hot off a performance at the Kennedy Center and have won incredible praise for their vocal talents. But that’s not all! Your cabaret evening begins with a delicious multi-course dinner – salmon or beef tenderloin – and ends with the epitome of romance – chocolate covered strawberries. Sounds like a delicious and memorable Valentine cabaret all rolled into one and quite the bargain at $100 each. But hurry because these hot seats won’t last long.
