Halloween in the Historical Village

Come one, come all for Halloween-themed fun in Blandford Nature Center’s historical village. This year’s Halloween in the Historical Village will take place on Saturday, October 28th from 10am-2pm at Blandford Nature Center located at 1715 Hillburn Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.

All attendees will have the opportunity to explore halloween activities inside each of our historical buildings: the log cabin, blacksmith shop, school house and learning lab. This fun-filled event will include story time with the animals, games, a halloween craft, face painting, cookie decorating, and a pumpkin scavenger hunt!

This event is open for visitors of all ages to enjoy this halloween season. There will be special activities that cater to younger children like face painting and the opportunity to meet a few of Blandford’s wildlife ambassadors during story times, as well as activities adults can appreciate such as tours of historical buildings and blacksmith demonstrations. Blandford’s Community Programs Manager, Camilla Voelker, says, “We love the opportunity to share a family-friendly Halloween event with our community, and are excited to celebrate this spooky season!”

We ask that you pre-register for this event, as event supplies and tickets are limited. Tickets for children are $7 for members, $10 for non-members, and adult tickets are $5 for members and $7 for non-members; children ages 2 and under are free.
