Children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and Trick-or-Treat in Downtown
Holland this Saturday, October 28 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm! Over 50 Downtown Holland businesses
and organizations will be handing candy out to children that morning while supplies last. It’s a perfect
opportunity for children to show off their costumes before Halloween! Trick-or-Treating in Downtown
Holland is proudly sponsored by Adient Lakewood. As part of their partnership with Downtown Holland,
representatives from Adient will be handing out candy, stickers, and other fun giveaways for children on
8th Street during the event and offering free face painting.

“Adient Lakewood is proud to sponsor Downtown Holland Treat-or-Treating on October 28 for our
third consecutive year!” said Adient’s Plant Human Resources Manager Fabiola Dussia. “Adient is
pleased to collaborate with Downtown Holland to create a fun community event for our employees, their
families, and the entire community. The Lakewood automotive seating plant team has been supporting
the local community for many years and looks forward to doing so in the future as well. Alongside our
amazing employees, we are excited to be part of this fun activity with their families and to give a back to
the kids in our city.”

Trick-or-Treating will take place rain or shine. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at
all times during the event. With the large crowd anticipated for the event, parents are reminded to be
especially mindful of their children’s safety when crossing the street.
