Visit South Haven is excited to announce their annual New Year’s Eve Celebration, happening in downtown South Haven on December 31, 2025.
“There's something magical about counting down to a new year surrounded by your neighbors and friends,” said Jennifer Sistrunk, executive director of Visit South Haven. “South Haven's New Year's Eve celebration is the perfect way to close out 2025 and step into 2026 with hope, joy, and incredible memories!”
The celebration will feature a full schedule of activities, including DJ entertainment, street performers, Big Blue Rentals’ 360 degree photo booths, and ice skating at the South Haven Ice Rink. Other attractions include the Family New Years Eve Party at the South Haven Center for the Arts, live music at local venues and trolley rides to other New Year’s celebrations taking place across town. Downtown businesses will be open late, featuring treats and prizes, and South Haven’s social district will also be open until midnight for guests to enjoy handcrafted beverages throughout the event.
The celebration will culminate with the countdown to midnight, followed by the iconic Beach Ball Drop, where 1,000 beach balls are dropped over guests at the corner of Phoenix and Center Street. Attendees are encouraged to take a ball home as a souvenir from the festivities. The Beach Ball drop will be accompanied by a fantastic show of fireworks over the harbor.
