The International Festival of Holland returns to the Holland Civic Center Place on Saturday, September 14, from 2-7pm. The festival is a free, family-friendly celebration of the cultures living and working in West Michigan. The festival will feature Main Stage performing artists, an International Food Court, a Children’s Fiesta, a Parade of Flags, a Mercado (market), and a rededication of The Immigrants statue by Bert Kievit, located in Kollen Park.
“Thousands of families and visitors from across West Michigan come to the International Festival of Holland to learn about our neighbors across the street and around the world,” said Michael Start, interim chair of the International Relations Commission that is hosting the festival. ”With music, dance, art, and of course the food and shopping, it’s a great way to celebrate Holland’s global connections.”
Anyone interested in participating in the Parade of Flags or volunteering can sign up at internationalfestivalholland.
