The West Michigan Tourist Association’s (WMTA) annual photo contest is happening now through July 29th, 2026.They are seeking submissions that capture stunning scenes of West Michigan and a chance to win amazing prizes.
The photo submissions should reflect the best of West Michigan, anything from the beauty and serenity of Michigan’s waterfront, the people, places and festivals that bring its communities to life, the ever-changing seasons, our untamed wilderness and breathtaking landscapes or simply the meaningful moments from family vacations and outdoor adventures.
Anyone 18 and older and legally residing within the 50 United States or Canada may submit an original, previously unsubmitted photo in 5 different categories. Entries are allowed in more than one category.

Public voting will begin on August 3rd and end on August 17th for one grand prize winner which will be named via “Public Vote”, through the West Michigan Tourist Associations Top 50 selection on their Facebook page.
