Located among scenic meadows and woodland ceremony spaces, this unique venue offers a hands-on look at their beautifully appointed tents, a communal barn, and an expert vendor lineup that can help you plan the event of your dreams. One of Michigan’s most iconic summer celebrations returns July 25 through August 3 — the Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival. This year’s theme, “Celebrating Their Service, Honoring Their Sacrifice,” includes the unveiling of the new Coast Guard Memorial Brick Garden.

Highlights include:

  • Nine live music and tribute shows at the Waterfront Stadium

  • The Grand Parade and Saturday Kids Parade

  • The always-entertaining Cardboard Boat Races

  • The Coast Guard USA 5K Run/Walk

  • A community picnic, vintage flea market, car show, and fundraising pancake breakfast

  • Friday night’s crowd-favorite Drone Light Show

  • And the spectacular Fireworks Display on Saturday, followed by the Parade of Ships on Monday

Many events are free, though some concerts require tickets or advance registration.

Snow White at Tibbits Opera House – July 18, 19, 25 & 26

For families looking to beat the heat and enjoy some lighthearted theatre, the Tibbits Opera House is offering a new take on a classic story. Snow White hits the stage July 18, 19, 25, and 26 at 10:00 a.m., and this isn’t the version you remember.

With a missing cast of dwarfs, a bold and unexpected Snow White, and a game of dress-up gone wild, this is a show packed with laughs and surprises. It’s a great way to introduce kids to live theatre in a fun, engaging setting.
