5 Free Map-Based Adventures Lead to Best Halloween Houses and Fall Highlights in West Michigan

This year, the website transforms Halloween & leaf-peeping into mapped out adventures and treasure hunts that are free to download and easy to use.

“Imagine not just getting a list, but a fully-charted route of the epic Halloween Houses popping up all over the area,” says Melody VanderWeide, the map-loving founder of GRKIDS.

“And not only that, while everyone’s going gaga over Halloween, we haven’t forgotten the magic of fall. Our Color Fun routes are designed to show off West Michigan fall colors with family-friendly stops marked along the way.”

Halloween House Trails: From gigantic skeletons to creative light displays set to music, each wow-worthy Halloween display promises something unique on these area-specific trails.

Color Fun Trails: A modern twist on the classic fall color tour. Along with mesmerizing fall colors, these trails include exciting pit stops like donuts, covered bridges, hayrides, and pumpkin patches. It’s an excellent way to discover the local hidden gems.
