West Michigan Native Returns To Speak On US-China Business Relationship

The City of Holland International Relations Commission (IRC), the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan, and Haworth, Inc., are pleased to host Grand Rapids native Kyle Sullivan to speak on US-China Business Relationships, Tuesday, Feb 13, 9-10:30 am at the Haworth Center, 1 Haworth Center, Holland. Sullivan is vice president of business advisory services at the US-China Business Council based in Washington, DC, where he oversees USCBC’s research and analysis for member companies. A graduate of the University of Michigan with an MBA from the University of Washington in Seattle, Sullivan is fluent in Mandarin and lived in China for over 12 years.

Sullivan’s presentation is part of the 2024 Great Decisions discussion program on world affairs. For the past five years the IRC has hosted a Great Decisions speaker to offer Holland-area residents access to diplomats, policy makers, think tank specialists, and journalists who lead conversations on some of the most pressing global issues of our time.

“We are excited for Kyle Sullivan’s return to West Michigan,” explained Michael Cuellar, IRC Chairperson. “Great Decisions speakers are of the highest caliber, and it’s an honor to bring them here to meet with Holland area residents and share their insights and expertise on some of the most critical global issues facing America today.”

A program of the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan, Great Discussions runs every Tuesday evening from 6-7:15 pm, February 6th through March 26th and features eight speakers on the topics listed below. Each presentation will be held live at The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and livestreamed on YouTube.
