It’s easy to plan a golf trip to the Battle Creek Area with Michigan’s Southern Swing. Choose from 15 premium golf courses in Southwest Michigan. Welter’s Folly at Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks is a family–friendly, 30,000 square foot public putting green located behind the distillery. The 18-hole course is modeled after the Himalaya at St. Andrews in Scotland, and is one of the largest real grass putting greens. The LYNX Golf Course in Otsego is a daily-fee golf course, open to the public seven days a week. Both nines begin and end at the highest point on the course, about 120 feet above the Kalamazoo River. The front side sends you out and concludes with a short, uphill dogleg left par 4 measuring 353 yards. The backside features the course’s signature hole, No.10, a par 4 of 411 yards that boasts an 85 foot elevation drop from tee to fairway.
