South Haven is home to two courses that are as charming as they are challenging. Both courses feature water, dunes, and beachgrass which makes the views as terrific as they are hazardous.

For a unique golf outing look no further than south-central Michigan’s Coldwater Country. The area is home to an abundance of golf courses. Hit the links at Bella Vista Golf Course, an 18-hole championship course. The course meanders through 300+ acres of almost complete seclusion affording visitors a serene, isolated golf experience interrupted only by the wonderful wildlife and beautiful views. For a challenging but fair course head to Iyopawa Island Golf Course. This well-maintained 9-hole course, surrounded by water, looks easy but with the tree-lined fairways and smaller greens it can be a challenge to control the ball. One of the most historic golf courses in Michigan, the Coldwater Golf Course is located on the shores of Morrison Lake. This traditional course offers an enjoyable and very playable challenge, winding through the tall trees, rolling hills and the area’s chain of lakes. It’s easy to plan a golf trip to the Battle Creek Area with Michigan’s Southern Swing. Choose from 15 premium golf courses in Southwest Michigan. These courses are located between Chicago and Detroit, making them easy to get, while still enjoying a woodsy, “up north” feeling. You’ll also be near FireKeepers Casino, two shopping districts and four breweries.

Welter’s Folly at Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks is a family–friendly, 30,000 square foot public putting green located behind the distillery. The 18-hole course is modeled after the Himalaya at St. Andrews in Scotland, and is one of the largest real grass putting greens. The LYNX Golf Course in Otsego is a daily-fee golf course, open to the public seven days a week. Both nines begin and end at the highest point on the course, about 120 feet above the Kalamazoo River. The front side sends you out and concludes with a short, uphill dogleg left par 4 measuring 353 yards. The backside features the course’s signature hole, No.10, a par 4 of 411 yards that boasts an 85 foot elevation drop from tee to fairway.

The Greater Lansing area is home to a number of golf options that will challenge even the most seasoned golfer. Magnificent shot values like the 17th island green at Eagle Eye Golf Club will test your skills.
