Holland Winter Market; First and Third Saturday of the month; 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The holiday festivities are over and you’re looking for something fun to do, right? Tomorrow is the perfect day to check out the Holland Winter Market.This bustling, cozy, and timeless market is held inside the Holland Civic Center Place every first and third Saturday of the month thru April. It may be cold outside, but inside 25 different vendors are waiting to fill your pantry with wholesome fresh produce, (even greenhouse grown!), locally-produced foods such as honey, maple syrup, jam, coffee, meat, seafood, quiche, cheese and so much more.  And when you’re done, why not make a day of it and check out all the wonderful eateries and shopping in Downtown Holland. Be sure to hit the ATM as you’ll need cash for all your purchases, however, Bridge Cards and Double Up Food Bucks are accepted. 

GR Public Museum; Concerts Under the Stars; January 11 and 12th; 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.)

Maybe it’s been awhile since you’ve visited this incredible treasure in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. But you could fill your long winter days with loads of inspiration and discovery with all the amazing things to see and do here. Take the Planetarium for instance; Under Starlit Skies or the Living Worlds Show and Let it Snow are ongoing right now.  But, next weekend, Thursday the 11th and Friday the 12th, at 7:30 p.m. Concerts under the Stars will be happening again.  Silent Spirit will be performing an immersive concert experience under the 50-foot dome, complete with projections of original video art.  Come early to the concert and have fun exploring; something for everyone can be found here all year round. Isn’t it time to channel your inner kid again? 

History Center at Courthouse Square; Scavenger Hunts at the Museum; Cozy Winters; 10:00 – 5:00 p.m.

It’s 2024 and they’re back!  Scavenger Hunts that is! Each quarter a new theme will be featured at the History Center at Courthouse Square in Berrien Springs and this time it is Cozy Winters!  Now through the end of March pick up your scavenger hunt sheet for a mere $1.00 each and get ready to have some fun racing around while discovering facts and history in ways that make it come alive. The History Center at Courthouse Square is not only a historic museum but  a 1.6 acre county park as well, so this is the ideal place to relax and play.
