Take a trip down memory lane with nostalgic vintage holiday collections at the Muskegon Museum of Art beginning November 22 through December 30. From vintage Christmas cards and ornaments to snurfboards and nutcrackers, these displays will spark the jolliest memories of the past.

The Festival of Trees is an annual holiday tradition at the Muskegon Museum of Art and a community favorite. The six-week event is filled with holiday activities, live music, an auction, a raffle wreath, and more. To see a full schedule, go to muskegonartmuseum.org/festivaloftrees

The Festival of Trees is a special event with a $5 admission fee added to general admission prices. Tickets can be purchased upon arrival in the MMA Museum Store.

Public: $5 + General Admission | Kids: $5

MMA Members: $5 | Kids (0-5) are free

Senior Thursdays: Every Thursday during the Festival of Trees, seniors (65+) get early access to the museum from 10 – 11 AM. Seniors also get a special discount of $2 off admission every Thursday during the Festival of Trees.

Teddy Bear Trail – Saturday, November 25 | 9 AM – 11 AM

Bring your family and favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal on a special holiday trail through Downtown Muskegon. Jingle along our holiday teddy bear trail for donuts, teddy bear check-ups and adoptions, hot cocoa and candy canes with Santa Claus, and so much more! Don’t have a stuffed animal? We’ll have a limited supply available for adoption! Children must be accompanied by one adult.

 $5 per person |Advanced ticket purchase is required.

Ceramic Tree Painting Workshop – Thursday, November 30 | 4-6 PM – 6-8 PM

Paint your own ceramic tree for the holidays! The MMA and Your Plate or Mine are partnering for this exciting holiday workshop. Advance registration is required. The price for the workshop includes the ceramic tree, the lighting kit, glazing options, kiln firing, entrance into the Festival of Trees and the museum.

Public: $95 – 9.5 inch ceramic tree | $120 – 14 inch ceramic tree

MMA Members: $85 – 9.5 inch ceramic tree | $110 – 14 inch ceramic tree

Super Saturday & Hot Cocoa Hop – Saturday, December 9 | 11 AM – 2 PM

Grab a cup of hot cocoa while you create DIY ornaments at Super Saturday. This event is great for kids and adults of all ages. The cost to attend is free, however, there will be a $5 admission fee to access the Festival of Trees galleries.
