Gilmore Car Museum’s Winter Wonderland Holiday Experience Opens Friday, November 24th

Winter Wonderland at the Gilmore Car Museum is creating even more magic this winter with an expanded nighttime holiday lights experience! Explore the museum’s beautiful 90-acre campus like never before – among hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights set to the rhythm of Christmas. Tickets are on sale now at GilmoreCarMuseum.org.

Presented by DeNooyer Automotive Family, Winter Wonderland is a unique seasonal celebration for “kids from 1 to 92!” Every winter, the museum campus transforms into a holiday playground where the entire family can make memories. In addition to our popular drive-through light show, guests can warm up inside the museum and explore our decorated galleries, visit The North Pole Post to write a letter to Santa, then take a walk down memory lane through our popular Christmas Through the Decades exhibits on the way to meet the “big man” himself.

A ticket to Winter Wonderland is an all-inclusive pass to explore the wide variety of indoor & outdoor holiday activities the museum has to offer:

“When you step into the museum, you’ll find a world of winter magic. With our decorated galleries, visits with Santa, and other indoor holiday activities, to outdoor fun like marshmallow roasting and a ride in a vintage car through a musical light show, we’re bringing our Michigan Winter Wonderland to life for our guests this holiday season,” says Executive Director, Michael Spezia.

Winter Wonderland at the Gilmore Car Museum will run throughout the holiday season, on select nights from Friday, November 24th, 2023 through Friday, December 30th, 2023.

  • Open weekly Thursday through Sunday from 5pm – 9pm ET
  • Dashing Through the Snow family rides in vintage cars are FREE with donations highly encouraged, first come first served
  • Tickets are sold per person, and include access to the museum during that same evening:

Adults 18+:                                          $20 at door/ $17.50 online in advance

                        Children ages 5-17:                            $12 at door/ $9.50 online in advance

                        Children ages 4 & under:                    FREE
