Fourth of July Around West Michigan

With warmer weather, summertime fun, and all things Red, White, and Blue, there’s a lot to celebrate this Fourth of July!

Find fireworks, parades, music, and more across West Michigan to commemorate this Independence Day weekend.


CELEBRATIONS IN THE UPPER PENINSULA AND THE NORTH REGION  

St. Ignace // Shepler’s Mackinac Island Ferry

Hop aboard a Fourth of July Cruise to watch Fourth of July fireworks so close you can almost reach out and touch them! Tickets go quickly, so make sure to reserve your seat early.


Walloon Lake // Walloon Lake Village

Enjoy live music in Village Green Park from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM with Jedi Mind Trip and fun activities for the whole family, culminating with fireworks over Walloon Lake.


Bellaire // Shanty Creek Resort

On Saturday, July 3, Shanty Creek celebrates Independence Day with a fireworks display at dusk, behind The Lakeview Hotel overlooking the beautiful Lake Bellaire. Shanty Creek is an up north destination perfect for making family memories this summer.


Marquette // Marquette County Visitors Bureau

Thompsonville // Crystal Mountain Resort

Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville is celebrating Independence Day in style with a variety of exciting events! Pound the pavement at their annual Fourth of July 4K Fun Run or put your “U.S. of Yay” spirit on display at their Bike & Golf Cart Parade. More weekend highlights include Family Golf Scrambles, scenic Chairlift Rides, live music in Barr Park, and much more!


Harbor Springs // Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce

Have a full, fun-filled Fourth of July at Harbor Springs! Start the afternoon with a parade marching through downtown, head over to Zorn Park for the Harbor Springs Community Schools Art Show 2021, and end the holiday weekend with a dazzling firework show!


Traverse City // Traverse City Tourism

Celebrate the grand and glorious Fourth of July with Traverse City’s spectacular fireworks display over West Grand Traverse Bay. Great viewing spots can be found along the south end of West Grand Traverse Bay at Open Space Park, Clinch Park Marina, Bryant Park, and West End Beach.

Ludington // Ludington Area CVB

Head to the lakeshore this Fourth of July where there’s something for everyone! Celebrate with the West Shore Art Fair, a parade marching through downtown, and cap off the weekend with fireworks over Lake Michigan.

Catch a Lansing Lugnuts game, live music, fireworks, and more, all in Greater Lansing this Independence Day weekend.


Mt. Pleasant // Soaring Eagle

Join Soaring Eagle for the biggest fireworks display in Mid-Michigan!

Battle Creek // Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show & Balloon Festival

Head out to the Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival for carnival rides, elephant ears, Pyro demonstrations, the Air Force F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team, hot air balloons, live music, and “Rocketman” Ignacio Valencia – the man who is shot out of a cannon. Watch fireworks light up the sky on July 1st and July 4th.


Coldwater & Quincy // Coldwater Country

Kick-off Independence Day in south-central Michigan with Quincy’s annual Fourth of July Parade and Rotary BBQ at Quincy Park. Fireworks will light up the sky over Marble Lake in Quincy and Heritage Park in Coldwater.


St. Joseph // Southwestern Michigan Tourist Council

Calling all music lovers! Celebrate Independence Day with the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra (Re)United States Celebration concert.


Fennville // Virtue Cider Farm
