Baldhead, and take the trails down to the beach.  In fact, there are many trails a quick stroll from the hotel to take in the beauty of the Kalamazoo River and Lake Michigan dunes.  

The hotel offers many choices of rooms.  Standard rooms are perfect for those on a budget who spend the day exploring.  Larger View rooms allow for more space and views of the pool and river.  For families they have loads of choices.  Poolside rooms allow for outdoor seating and that necessary coffee maker and small refrigerator.  Large suites and junior suites also offer outdoor space, and include full kitchens with room to spread out.  Beachway also offers a large, recently refinished 4 bedroom, 2 bath house on Lake Michigan.  There are also the popular waterfront suites which sit on the Kalamazoo River and offer varying amenities ranging from Jacuzzi® tubs, fireplaces, private decks, full kitchens and much more.  

The Beachway offers a little something to get your mornings started before you head out to breakfast or cook in your suite.  Mini donuts, fresh fruit, and coffee are complimentary in the mornings. To get to downtown, you can chose to drive the quick 3-5 minute drive to town, or if you’re visiting in the summer, jump on the only remaining chain ferry and enjoy all that Saugatuck has to offer.
