Cogdal Vineyards is nestled between South Haven and Saugatuck next to Lake Michigan. Lake Michigan powers our growing season with its unique micro climate and through sustainable farming practices we deliver outstanding small batch wines. The small batches are the key to our Cogdal Vineyard single varietal wines and the variety of robust and unique Little Man Winery blends. At the heart of each batch is the character, aromas and flavors from its growing season. These very drinkable wines are the ultimate farm to table experience.
The ambiance of the vineyard is reflected upon your approach through the vineyard, the result of the tasting room being more than 2000 feet from the road. Your experience starts with enjoying the vineyard, followed by a setting overlooking the vineyard, and the realization you have been transported to your favorite wine tasting spot.
Enter the tasting room to an inviting and laid back feel. Our preference for dry wines is reflected in the wine list. The wine list includes 14 dry, 2 semi dry, 2 sweet, and a cider. These wines can be enjoyed in many ways. We serve samples in flights, pour wine by glass, and offer a bottle to be shared. To compliment your wine, we serve local goat cheese, a charcuterie board, and chocolate pairings. And of course you can take your wine home, multiple bottle discounts are available.
When the weather is inviting, the patio is the go-to spot to enjoy the wine. We have covered, shaded, and sunny areas spread out over a large area. Although we do some events they are limited to allow our customers to enjoy the serenity and the company of other wine lovers.
Besides being wine lovers, we are also music lovers. We have lined up an eclectic array of performers playing all types of genres. The ten night Wednesday (6pm – 8pm) summer music series starts June 15 and ends on August 17. The Sunday afternoon (1pm – 3pm) fall music series will be Aug 28, Sep 11, 18, & 25. We will be celebrating our 8th anniversary on Sunday, July 17 with food starting at noon and music starting at 1.
