Come experience and celebrate our diverse heritage by exploring Unity in Diversity: the Heartbeat and Ties of Many Cultures exhibit at the Art Center of Battle Creek. This free exhibit opens on Sunday, June 3 with a reception from 2-4 pm.  This reception will include performances by groups from within the Calhoun County community. Visitors are encouraged to attend in their native dress.

Cultures from around the world will be showcased in this exhibit with special areas devoted to eating, clothing, homes and buildings, children and entertainment.  A special hands-on area for children is also a part of this exhibit with games and toys from around the world.

This year, 2018, is the Art Center’s 70^th Anniversary of serving this community so in celebration a special display of dolls from 70 countries will be on display.

This event runs June 3 to August 11. The Art Center is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturdays 11 am to 3 pm. The Art Center will be closed on Fridays in August.
