Under the Arctic: Digging into Permafrost allows visitors to engage with the past, present, and future of our planet by combining climate science and natural history with interactive exhibits and artifacts. Under the Arctic showcases a recreation of the Western Hemisphere’s only permafrost research tunnel.
Visitors to Under the Arctic will be able to learn about climate science spanning from Ice Age fossils to current day climate change research. This exhibit will spark a passion for scientific exploration, all while conveying the gravity of climate change through videos and stories.
Exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat-Sun.
