We’ve always loved the views from our Carriage House dining room, its quintessential waterfront backdrop ideal for any occasion, be it toasting good friends on a Friday or saying “I do” on your wedding day. But now, with the completion of our brand-new dock, “boardwalk cocktails” will become a summer
season event you simply won’t want to miss.

It’s been a project of patience as much as anything, but the wait is worth it; Hotel Iroquois’ new cocktail dock extends our bar over the water so you and yours can enjoy an expanded space to share a drink with new friends and old. Thoughtfully constructed from a beautiful and durable, mold-resistant
Brazilian hardwood called ipe, the deck will be open from dawn until dusk, hotel guests are welcome to relax in a chaise lounge chair, or simply walk about while you sip and savor the unrivaled waterfront panorama.

At the same time, a new, curated menu complements the dock’s opening. For appetizers, sample locally produced charcuterie from the artisanal farmer’s board, crunch into a homemade potato chip, or indulge in a spoonful of melt-in-your-mouth caviar. The updated drinks menu practically
“sparkles” with delightfully refreshing wines and cocktails served to help you sink into your surroundings.

Of course, we invite you to dinner, too, and welcome your reservation at the Carriage House Restaurant where you’ll find a menu bursting with the freshest local seafood, the finest cuts from our Detroit family butcher, and area farmers’ best in seasonal produce.
