Blandford Nature Center Hosts Annual Fall Nature Makers Market; Supporting Small Local Businesses With Work inspired By Nature & Sustainability

The Fall Nature Makers Market at Blandford Nature Center is back just in time
for the holiday season! People of all ages are invited to celebrate the season of giving and shop for
nature-inspired goods. This free, single-day event will take place on Saturday, November 12th from 9 am-3
pm at Blandford Nature Center located at 1715 Hillburn Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.

The Nature Makers Market highlights local artists in the Grand Rapids area who create products inspired by
nature or use natural or sustainable materials. This year’s fall market will feature over 30 new and returning
vendors who will be selling textiles, prints, ceramics, glassworks, jewelry, stationery, stickers, and more.
There will be a variety of styles and a wide selection of items available — all of which are created with
nature in mind.

Blandford’s Community Program Manager, Camilla Voelker, said, “It’s amazing to see the creativity each
artist demonstrates while using nature as the inspiration for their work or using sustainable materials for
their products.” She went on to add, “If you’re looking to get your holiday shopping done or need gift ideas,
this is a great opportunity to support your local nature center and small businesses!”

Admission to the Nature Makers Market is free for all ages and no registration is required to attend. Guests
