Maple Row Sugarhouse; Michigan Maple Festival: March 16-17 and March 23-24

It’s such a shame that delicious maple syrup only comes but one season a year, and NOW it’s almost time, so you won’t want to miss it.  Maple Row Sugarhouse in Jones, all started as a sweet family affair back in 2011 with a mere 4 maple trees netting 5 gallons of syrup. Today, it’s still a family affair helping to produce loads of liquid gold that not only goes fab with pancakes, of course, but goes into all the maple products they sell. Speaking of pancakes, the Michigan Maple Festival held beginning this weekend will host a pancake eating contest, along with horse drawn wagon rides, free sugarhouse tours, live music, dances and a Civil War Camp.  Be sure to check out their website for the various dates and times when you can bring the family down for some of natures’ best, deliciously wholesome, sticky fun!
