RedWater- Oktoberfest- Now through October 31st

  • Nothing says Oktoberfest like a warm and hearty meal and a great big stein of frosty beer. And the best part? Those jumbo Bavarian pretzels smothered in gooey beer cheese and candied jalapeno mustard are waiting for you all month long -  at all of the Redwater Restaurant group's wonderful dining establishments. Oktoberfest has begun!, so stop into the Redrock Grille, Cork Wine & Grille, The Butler in Saugatuck, Holland’s Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant, Firerock Grille, Rush Creek Bistro, Gravity TapHouse or Muskegon’s Lake Bluff Grille, for amazing food, service, and views. Most can’t decide between the Pork Schnitzel with Applewood Bacon, Spaetzle, caramelized onions, braised red cabbage, and cider gravy OR the Bratwurst patties, smoked bacon, red cabbage and smoked gouda on warm pretzel sliders. Oh what the heck - order them both - Oktoberfest only comes around once a year!

Wednesday Afternoon Tea at Applesauce Inn: October 2nd through April 2025

  • If you are planning your fall color tour, the Applesauce Inn in Bellaire is the perfect place for an overnight stay or two, because really great things come in small packages! This Boutique Farmhouse Inn has 3 uniquely themed rooms that are in high demand, and it’s no wonder, considering the fresh homemade breakfasts and homemade desserts that are part of what makes this B&B experience so magical. And even if you're not staying the night, you can book a traditional High Tea experience every Wednesday and slow down a bit - enjoying pots of yummy Earl Grey tea, freshly baked scones, savory tea sandwiches, fruit, and minute desserts. Applesauce Inn’s traditional High Tea is inspired by Anna, the Duchess of Bedford, who some say invented this lovely tradition. Reservations are required and the fee is $35.00 per person. However, if you are staying at the Inn, book your own special tea time any day Monday through Thursday.
