Black Star Farms is honored to be nominated again for USA TODAY'S Readers' Choice 10 Best Wine Country Hotels and humbled to be in the company of the other nominees from California and Oregon. In 2020, with your support, the Inn at Black Star Farms claimed the top spot, while last year, they placed in the top three.

The one thing that sets their wine country apart is the sparkling freshwater that surrounds them. Combine that with tbeir warm northern Michigan hospitality, endless four-season outdoor activities, and thriving food and wine scene, and you can see why the Traverse Wine Coast has become a popular destination for those near and far.

This year, they are excited to share that Bistro Polaris has also been nominated for the 10 Best Wine Country Restaurants. The Black Star Farms culinary team is committed to showcasing local and seasonal ingredients, along with the finest imported products, from their Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizzas to their delectable three-course Sunday brunches. Their patrons to speak for themselves:

"This is the perfect place to come for a lovely brunch with your girlfriends or a special meal with your significant other. It’s stylish while remaining classic. The food is delicious and fresh but not intimidating. Truly a wonderful experience!"

"This place is a diamond in the rough on the Leelanau Peninsula! It offers great food and service, yet more importantly, it is a testament to a local business that strives to please! Bistro Polaris is phenomenal!"
