Glik’s in downtown Grand Haven wanted to create a fun event to celebrate our community. Last year, we came up with the idea of an event dedicated to our wonderful local teachers and school staff! We decided to offer a 20% discount and a VIP after-hours shopping experience. Our friends at Lakeside Eats, who were just opening their doors at that time, joined in and catered our event! Grand Armory Brewing, located just behind our store, also participated by offering $1 off drinks for school staff that evening. The event was AMAZING!
This year, we've expanded the event to include a few other retailers in our 3rd block of Washington. Borr’s Bootery, Lemongrass Life and Style, Lark Boutique, and Lisa Lehmann Designs will be joining us to celebrate teachers! The event will take place from 7pm-9pm on Wednesday, June 12th. There will be food, giveaways, permanent jewelry, and discounts at all participating businesses for school staff with a valid school ID!
