A portion of Huron Road through the East Bluff will see occasional closures May 4-7 as Team Elmers finishes work related to a retaining wall replacement.
The portion of the road affected starts near Anne’s Table Trail, next to the Lewis Cass Memorial and runs to Truscott Street (Mission Hill). The closures will not affect Fort Mackinac nor access to Arch Rock Road or the Arch Rock Bicycle Trail. Visitors who want to make a loop are encouraged to take Arch Rock Road and connect with Huron Road just before the Milliken Nature Center, then travel down Truscott Street (Mission Hill).
Team Elmers has indicated that the road will be open during the evening hours.
