The Michigan Maritime Museum presents the 43rd Antique & Classic Boat Show in South Haven. This event celebrates a wide array of antique and classic small craft from power boats to paddle boats. Woodworkers and collectors alike will showcase their boats, demonstrations on boat building techniques will be featured, and toy boat building will be available for children. “Our aim is to help perpetuate the building, restoration, and use of classic boats and small craft to give participants and the public an entertaining and informative learning experience while being fun for the whole family” said Ashley Deming, Director of Education & Programs at the Michigan Maritime Museum.

Enjoy a day strolling through the numerous unique, historic, and culturally significant boats on display while marveling over the dedicated craftsmanship and preservation that has allowed these vessels to endure and delight. This is sure to be a first-class experience and you are likely to find some additional gems as you explore the Michigan Maritime Museum and its waterfront campus.

“We’re so proud to once again host this venerable boat show on our newly expanded waterfront campus, especially with this being the 20th anniversary of our traditionally rigged tall ship, Friends Good Will, and the 50th anniversary of the Museum” said Patti Montgomery-Reinert, Executive Director of the Michigan Maritime Museum. “We are extremely grateful for the generous support from Gull Lake Marine, our 50th Anniversary sponsoring partner, for helping make events like this possible”.

Show hours are 10 am - 4 pm, Saturday, June 15, 2024.  Admission to the boat show is free with the purchase of general admission to the Museum and waterfront campus.
