Unfortunately, we are sad to announce that two bands are unable to join us at this year’s festival. The Langan Band will not be able to perform due to a family emergency. However, the Screaming Orphans from Donegal, Ireland will be stepping in for the performances that had been planned for The Langan Band.
Screaming Orphans are a chart-topping all-sister Celtic folk and pop band from Donegal, Ireland. They are known worldwide for their award-winning sound combining original songs with a unique take on traditional Irish music. The sisters’ trademark spine-tingling four-part harmony and instrumental mastery combined with their highly energized performances take audiences of all ages on an exhilarating and emotional musical journey.
Additionally, The Peelers from Montreal, Canada had to cancel their Friday night performance at MIMF due to visa issues. We’re thankful to share that The Barley Saints from West Michigan are able to fill in for The Peelers on their scheduled Friday performance. The Barley Saints are also scheduled to perform on Saturday at the festival, so you’ll have an extra opportunity to see a great group!

"We are very fortunate, however, that the Screaming Orphans from Donegal and West Michigan's Barley Saints were available to fill in."
These two great groups join an outstanding lineup that includes Skerryvore, Socks in the Frying Pan, Lúnasa, Old Blind Dogs, Goitse, Ally the Piper, Seamus Kennedy and many more.
