The Michigan Irish Music Festival, presented by Family Financial Credit Union, invites the community to experience another unforgettable celebration of Irish culture, music, and heritage, happening September 11-14, 2025 at Heritage Landing in Muskegon.

In addition to over 25 musical artists on six stages, this year’s festival features an exciting lineup of cultural offerings. Designed to immerse patrons in the richness of Irish and Celtic traditions, guests can participate in a variety of classes and presentations centered around music, storytelling, and Irish food & drink.

A standout addition for 2025 is “Not Your Dadio’s Ceili”, an energetic and inclusive group dance experience. Hosted by Ceili caller Éamonn de Cógáin, participants of all skill levels will be guided through a vibrant square-dance style event filled with music and movement.

Another exciting and interactive highlight is the Irish Instrument Petting Zoo, presented by the Detroit Irish Music Association, where guests can explore traditional Irish instruments hands-on. Additional music focused, interactive workshops include sessions on hand drumming, tin whistles, tenor banjos, and sea shanties.

Festivalgoers can also enjoy several Storytelling opportunities including Children’s Story Time with Hackley Public Library, a poetry reading by Greg Pappleye author of Barley Child, and a fascinating session on the ancient manuscript, The Book of Kells.

Culinary enthusiasts will appreciate live cooking and beverage demonstrations from the Baker College Culinary Institute of Michigan, featuring authentic Irish cuisine. For guests 21 and older, separately ticketed Tasting Classes are available including Whiskey Tasting & Cheese Pairing with Wonderland Distilling Company, Five Farms Irish Cream Tasting, and The World of Craft Beer with Pigeon Hill Brewing Company.

*Tasting class tickets can be purchased at michiganirish.saffire.com/p/tickets.
