Krasl Art Center is thrilled to announce the newest members of its dynamic team: Madison Cvengros as Marketing Manager, Monica Garvey as Development Manager, and Meli Bandera as Associate Curator.
Madison Cvengros, joined Krasl Art Center in April with a digital media perspective on marketing. She brings that fresh viewpoint to different audiences through video and visual storytelling, as well as traditional marketing strategies.
Monica Garvey joined alongside Cvengros in April as Development Manager. Garvey has a diverse background in communications which she seeks to use in connecting Krasl and the Richard Hunt Studio Center with the greater Southwest Michigan community. She is committed to fostering new relationships and expanding the reach and impact of Krasl’s legacy while forming new partnerships and widening the arts community within and beyond the region.
Meli Bandera steps into the role of Associate Curator, bringing both passion and professionalism as a curator, educator, and fine artist. Bandera started at the end of July and dove right into their Curatorial role in the latest installation of Hull-House Artists in Chicago and Beyond. Bandera's hardwork in their first week contributed immensely to the exhibition's opening.
"We have a special work culture at Krasl that I am proud of. Working here requires a strong work ethic, an openness to people and art, and an ability to work collaboratively internally and throughout the community," said Tami Fauver, Executive Director and Chief Curator of Krasl Art Center. "I am so pleased with all three of these amazing professionals who have dove right in, joined our community, and are part of our team."
The Krasl Art Center is excited to embark on this new chapter with Madison, Monica, and Meli as they work together to further enhance the cultural landscape of St. Joseph, Benton Harbor, and beyond.
