Celebrate the flavors, music, and traditions of Asia at Gun Lake Casino’s Mid Autumn Night Fest on September 26th at the 131 Sports Bar! Bring the whole family and come hungry, because there’s a feast waiting for you. Enjoy a curry station, dim sum, BBQ and skewers, a dessert table, and even a build-your-own banh mi station. Then, watch the incredible Lotus Boyz Lion Dancers before a live DJ keeps the celebration going. It’s an evening of delicious food, music, dancing, and Asian culture — all for $40 at Gun Lake Casino.
Crane’s Orchards, Fennville; Saturdays and Sundays
Grab the kids, grab a wagon, and head to Crane’s Orchards in Fennville for some good old-fashioned fall fun! It’s apple-picking season, with plenty of varieties waiting for you — including one of my favorites, the Northern Spy, which is absolutely delicious baked into a homemade apple pie. The corn maze is open, the cow train is rolling, and the pumpkin patch is ready for exploring. And don’t miss one of Crane’s most popular experiences — a tractor-drawn hayride through the farm, orchards, and woods. Stop by Crane’s on Saturday or Sunday, weather permitting, and make some good old-fashioned autumn memories with the family!
Cornwell’s Turkeyville – Fall Festival Arts & Crafts Show, October 3–4; Marshall
Say goodbye to summer and hello to fall at Cornwell’s Turkeyville in Marshall! The fall fun starts with Royal Stagg Pirates and Witch’s Weekend, followed by the annual Fall Festival Arts and Crafts Show October 3rd and 4th, featuring seasonal shopping and plenty of autumn treasures.
And if you’re looking for a little Halloween excitement, Turkeyville’s haunted attractions continue through October 25th, with a creepy hayride, haunted barn, corn maze, and spooky train ride. Costumes are encouraged! You’ll also find all your favorite fall flavors, including homemade donuts, fresh apple cider, pumpkins, mums, hearty turkey dinners, homemade sides, baked goods, and delicious pies. It’s a classic Michigan fall tradition with something fun — and tasty — around every corner!
Gull Meadow Farms, Richland; Now through October 31
Fall is in full swing at Gull Meadow Farms in Richland, with a whole farm full of fun waiting for your family! Every weekend through October 31st, pick your own apples and pumpkins, explore the corn maze, and enjoy more than 30 activities, including apple cannonball, paintball, a zip line, bounce pad, spider web, petting zoo, and pumpkin train.
This weekend, check out the All-Star Stunt Dogs for an action-packed show featuring incredible canine athletes. Then next weekend, grab your boots and head back for Western Weekend, with trick roping and line dancing. There’s always something new to see and do at Gull Meadow Farms this fall, so gather the family and make a day of it!
