Families are invited to join the Holland Farmers Market this Wednesday, August 11, for the
final Kids Activity of the summer with our 2026 sponsor Corewell Health! The Market Kids Activities are
held every Wednesday from 9:30 am – 11:30 am through August 12. The Market Kids Activities are free
to attend and begin with Market Story Time hosted by the Herrick District Library from 9:30 am – 10:00
am, followed by a fun, educational, and hands-on activity led by a local community partner from 10:00 am
– 11:30 am.
For our final Market Kids Activity this summer, families can explore creative, nutritious snack ideas perfect
for the upcoming school year, while enjoying hands-on activities that promote smart snacking habits. With
the help of a team from Corewell Health Zeeland Community Hospital, children will get to participate in
fun twist on a “cake walk” featuring healthy snacks, including fruits and vegetables you can find at the
Holland Farmers Market! Free snack samples and interactive stations will be available throughout the
event. Come join the fun for one last time this summer!
