Zoo Goes Boo promises ghoulishly good fun for the entire family 

 A spine-tingling lineup of events awaits families and zoo visitors over three weekends this October as the spirit of Halloween takes over John Ball Zoo. 

 

John Ball Zoo’s spooky slate of Halloween weekends, Zoo Goes Boo, is sure to be a hit for the whole family with dazzling entertainment, fun costumes and some devilishly sweet treats. Zoo Goes Boo will take place during weekends in October, including Oct. 10-12, Oct. 17-19 and Oct. 24-26.

Zoo Goes Boo will feature 13 twisted treat stations throughout the Zoo, each with an array of Halloween sweets, plus entertainment like magicians, fire performers, jugglers and more.  

 

Attendees are encouraged to bring a bag for candy and wear a costume, though full masks and weapons are not allowed. Allergy-friendly options are available. For those who don’t have a costume, a variety of festive face-painting options will be available on site. 

 

John Ball Zoo members have exclusive access to the event from 9-10 a.m. each day. General admission to Zoo Goes Boo is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and tickets can be purchased online.
