The Marshall Historical Society is excited to present the 59th Annual Home Tour, “Every House Has a Story”, the weekend of September 6-8, 2024. This year’s tour features six private homes, including one which was a former schoolhouse and another which was a township hall, in addition to the Catholic rectory, the Episcopal Church, and a sneak peek at a farmhouse museum undergoing renovation. Other events include a concert at the Brooks Memorial Fountain, Art at the Museum art fair, River District Market, children’s activities, a pub crawl, admission to several museums, and more. This is a self-driving tour with many homes and activities within walking distance of downtown.
Friday, September 6th:
- Join the “History of Your Home” Workshop at 5:30 PM at the Choose Marshall Welcome Center (323 W Michigan Ave at the Fountain Circle). Groove to live music by “Brass in Pocket” from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Brooks Memorial Fountain. Explore downtown retailers during extended shopping hours. (hours for each store may vary)
Saturday, September 7th:
- Embark on the Home Tour from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Homes include:

- Don’t miss the Home Tour Pub Crawl from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with prizes at participating locations.
- Hop on the Marshall Trolley (in-town service) to explore museums, markets, and homes within city limits during the tour.

Sunday, September 8th:
- Continue your home tours from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Visit the River District Market and explore more Art at the Museum.
- Savor brunch options at local restaurants like Copper Athletic Club, Broadway Grille, and Free Range Pancake House.
