Explore the invisible forces that help move people and things across land, sea, and air in our new interactive, family-friendly exhibit at the Muskegon Museum of History and Science

From Here to There opens on Saturday, February 7, with a special grand opening event from 1-3 PM. In this immersive experience, you can experiment with real science in action. Whether it’s riding a hovercraft, testing airflow with floatboats, operating a working canal lock system between different water levels, and more, there’s so much to discover.

Step into a world where curiosity leads the way. From young adventurers to seasoned learners, From Here to There transforms complex mechanics into an unforgettable journey of creativity.

“Bringing exhibits like From Here to There to Muskegon reflects our mission to make science accessible and engaging for everyone,” said Lakeshore Museum Center Executive Director Melissa Horton. “We’re proud to offer an experience that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and shared exploration for families across our community.”

From Here to There runs Saturday, February 7 to Saturday, May 9, 2026. Admission is free for Muskegon County residents and museum members, and $5 for non-residents. This exhibit is made possible in part through the generous underwriting support of Consumers Energy.

RSVP for the grand opening event by Monday, February 2, at marci@lakeshoremuseum.org or 231-724-5544.
