The Inn at Bay Harbor located in northern Michigan on the shores of Lake Michigan’s Little Traverse Bay, has an enchanting new offering this summer, Sunset Sound Healing.   Available on Mondays in July and August, this unique experience allows participants to immerse themselves in the gentle sounds of waves while undergoing a transformative sound healing session, then rise restored to take in the breathtaking beauty of a northern Michigan sunset.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Michigan, Sunset Sound Healing sessions combine the natural serenity of the waterfront with the therapeutic benefits of sound healing.  Guests are guided through gentle mediation and intentional breathing during a soothing sound bath, featuring instruments such as quartz crystal singing bowls, chimes, gongs, and drums, designed to promote deep relaxation.  Following the session, participants can bask in the tranquility of a picturesque sunset, creating an ideal closing to the restorative evening.

“We are delighted to introduce this unique wellness offering,” said Kari Strange, director of spa. “Our Sunset Sound Healing sessions provide a perfect blend of natural beauty and holistic healing, allowing for rejuvenation in a truly spectacular setting.”

Sunset Sound Healing is offered on nine Mondays this summer starting on July 1 and ending on August 26.  The sessions are facilitated by Amanda Borghi, certified sound healing facilitator and neuromuscular massage therapist.  The sessions are open to the public, are $40 per person, and limited to 30 participants each.  Comfortable layered clothing is recommended.  A yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye pillow, and water are provided.
