Children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and Trick-or-Treat in Downtown Holland this Saturday, October 24 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm! A total of 60 Downtown Holland  businesses and organizations will be handing candy out to children that morning, making the 2026 event  the largest one ever in Downtown Holland. It’s the perfect opportunity to give those costumes a test run  before October 31! Trick-or-Treating in Downtown Holland is proudly sponsored by Adient.

“Adient Lakewood is proud to sponsor Downtown Holland Treat-or-Treating on October 24th for our sixth  consecutive year!” said Adient’s Plant Human Resources Manager Fabiola Dussia. “Adient is pleased to  collaborate with Downtown Holland to create a fun community event for our employees, their families, and  the entire community. Our Adient team always looks forward to giving back to the community. We are  impressed with how much the event has grown. We appreciate all the downtown businesses that  participate in making this happen. This year kids and their families can expect games, balloons,  giveaways, and lots of candy!”

As part of their partnership with Downtown Holland, representatives from Adient will be hosting  Halloween-themed games with prizes at GDK Park on 8th Street during the event hours of 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Trick-or-Treating will take place rain or shine. Children must be accompanied by a parent or  guardian at all times during the event. With the large crowd anticipated for the event, parents are  reminded to be especially mindful of their children’s safety when crossing the street.

After Trick-or-Treating, families are also invited to the Holland Ice Park in Downtown Holland for the first  ever Not-So-Spooky Boo Bash! hosted by Holland Parks & Recreation from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. The free  Not-So-Spooky Boo Bash features fall fun, silly scares, and plenty of Halloween spirit for families! The  Holland Museum and Latin Americans United for Progress will also be hosting their annual Dia de los  Muertos event from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm at the Holland Armory in Downtown Holland that same day. Families are invited to the Armory for a free afternoon of music, dancing, hands-on activities, and  ofrendas hosted by local students as part of this cultural celebration.
