The biggest sale of the year returns to Downtown Holland this weekend! Don’t miss the annual Downtown Holland Sidewalk Sales this week Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8! During Sidewalk Sales, shoppers will find amazing bargains from Downtown Holland’s unique collection of gift shops, clothing and accessory boutiques, home furnishing stores, art galleries, sporting goods outfitters, and more. Over 50 different shops and restaurants will be participating in the two-day sale, which runs from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm on Friday, August 7 and from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 8. The 2026 Downtown Holland Sidewalk Sales are proudly sponsored by Downtown Holland’s own Jean Marie’s.

Visitors are reminded that 8th Street will be closed to both traffic and parking beginning at 6:30 pm on Thursday, August 6for the Gentex Street Performer Series and Sidewalk Sale set-up. The street will remain closed from College Avenue through River Avenue until Saturday, August 8 at 6:00 pm for Sidewalk Sales. As always, free public parking will be available for Sidewalk Sales in the customer parking lots off 7th and 9th Streets, at the 7th and 9th Street Parking Decks, and at the Holland Civic Center Place.
Savvy shoppers are encouraged to shop early if they don’t want to miss a single bargain. And once you’ve shopped ‘till you dropped, relax at one of Downtown Holland’s many outdoor sidewalk cafés or choose from a multitude of distinctive restaurants, casual pubs, and coffee shops to dine from. Or cool off with a delicious frozen treat…whether it’s ice cream, frozen yogurt, or the Holland Peanut Store’s famous Nutty Paddle Pops!
The Downtown Holland Social District is also open during Sidewalk Sales, meaning that patrons ages 21+ can purchase alcoholic beverages at one of nearly 20 different participating establishment to enjoy while shopping for the best Sidewalk Sale deals!
