Gilmore Car Museum Relix Riot, August 22; 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
It’s here! The Relix Riot at the Gilmore Car Museum is back for another day of incredible classic cars, hot rods, customs and motorcycles. This annual West Michigan car show is always a riot, with plenty to see and enjoy for automobile enthusiasts and families alike.
The Relix Riot features traditional hot rods, customs and motorcycles from the 1940s, ’50s and early ’60s, along with a special show lawn dedicated to those fabulous, finned cars of the 1950s and ’60s. You’ll also see awards presented for some of the day’s best vehicles, including Best Hot Rod, Best Custom, Best Motorcycle, Best Truck, Best Paint and the Gilmore Award.
And the fun actually gets started tonight with the Relix Riot Pre-Party from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., featuring live music, food, drinks and plenty of gearhead camaraderie. Then come back Saturday for the main event and enjoy the show, explore the Gilmore Car Museum and make a day of it in Hickory Corners. The Blue Moon Diner will also be open for breakfast beginning at 8:00 a.m.
For classic car fans—or anyone looking for a fun and unique West Michigan event—the Relix Riot is definitely worth the drive!

Dinner and a murder mystery? Now that’s a great combination of delicious food, entertainment and interactive fun! Head to Pietro’s Italian Restaurant in Grand Rapids next Friday, August 28th, for an evening of mystery and mayhem presented by The Murder Mystery Company.
The professional actors will arrive in full regalia and greet guests as they arrive—already in character—and introduce you to the evening’s mysterious story. And don’t be surprised if you find yourself becoming part of the action! Some guests may even be called upon to help solve the crime.
Enjoy a delicious dinner while you follow the clues, question the suspects and work with your fellow amateur detectives to figure out whodunit. It’s the perfect opportunity to practice your inner sleuth and become a detective for the evening!
