It’s a classic summer tradition that has become increasingly rare, making this anniversary celebration even more special.The gates open at 5:00 p.m., and guests who arrive before 6:00 p.m. can enjoy a special carload admission for just $40. After 6:00 p.m., regular admission rates apply. The evening will feature live entertainment from The Funkles beginning at 6:00 p.m., a bounce house for the kids, fireworks, and plenty of family-friendly fun before the movies begin.

If you love independent bookstores, local art, and small-town charm, make plans to visit The Bookman in Grand Haven tomorrow for the Third Annual Chalk the Walk celebration.
This colorful community event transforms the sidewalks of Centertown into an outdoor art gallery filled with creativity and summer fun. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet acclaimed chalk artist David Zinn, whose whimsical sidewalk creations have delighted audiences around the world. David will be at The Bookman from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. signing books and meeting fans, and he’ll also present a live chalk art demonstration at noon in front of Ver Duin’s Printing on Washington Avenue, and then be sure to take part in the scavenger hunt to discover David’s imaginative creations along the sidewalks.
