Fenn Valley’s New Release Wine and Food Pairings April 13/14 & 20/21

Fenn Valley’s New Release Wine and Food Pairings event in Fennville is a rare and unique opportunity to sample 6 never before seen wines this weekend and next weekend. But the real event is the tasting, and the unraveling of the mystery and the art of what makes a successful wine and food pairing, so yes, this will include food samples as well, all for only $ 15.00 per person. They say wines should taste better with food, and Fenn Valley’s staff will highlight some of their personal discoveries and experiences that make this true.

Tomorrow is the Spring Market at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts! From 10 to 4 p.m. the pavilion will be overflowing with over 30 vendors who will display incredible hand-crafted items, jewelry, soaps, and one-of-a-kind gifts, as well as baked goods, cheeses and beautiful clothing. The SCA on-site bar will be serving up spring cocktails, wines, seltzers and ciders, so this is definitely the perfect way to enjoy the day, and have a big splash of springtime fun.

WIndmill Island Gardens, Run of the Mill, April 13; 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Race in Windmill Island Gardens annual 4K Run of the Mill tomorrow in Holland! This fun run is one exhilarating way to take in all the blooming beauty that surrounds the extensive grounds of the historic gardens. In fact, it’s opening day, so there will be lots of excitement on hand as another lovely spring season begins. This run is perfect for the whole family, and the registration fee goes towards supporting the gardens. At 1:00 p.m. the 30- piece Salvation Army Brass Band and 30 Songsters will be putting on a concert in the park, so bring your own chairs.
