Tibbits Opera House -Film Series, Coldwater Kitchen, Wednesday, March 6th; 6:00 p.m.

The Tibbits Film Series is presenting the documentary Coldwater Kitchen on Wednesday, March 6th.
This is an incredible story featuring the passion and devotion of Chef Hill and his 30-year culinary training
program at Lakeland Prison. The film features four men on their prison journey, employing food as a
prism to tell deeper stories of purpose, resilience, and redemption. More than teaching the basics of
cooking, this program goes much deeper, even teaching the art of growing food, fine dining, and
knowledgeable wine service – showing the ways we are connected. And does so in unexpected ways,
subtly addressing some of the most pressing questions of our time. This film is inspiring and hopeful and a must for anyone who is passionate about food and the many hands that feed us – physically and
emotionally.
