The Pictured Rocks is comprised of over 15 miles of shoreline along Lake Superior. Over 100 miles of scenic trails are located within the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore area. These colorful sandstone cliffs tower 50 to 200 ft above the water’s surface. Visitors can experience our forests, streams, shoreline, and wildlife by hiking or biking these many pathways throughout the park. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is Munising’s greatest attraction.
