Description
Allegan County is located in the southwest region of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. It has approximately 827 square miles of land and 1006 square miles of water, with 25 miles of coastline along beautiful Lake Michigan. We have much to offer our residents. Summer activities include swimming, fishing water skiing, equestrian trails, and camping and winter activities include skiing and snowmobiling. There is wine tasting at the vineyards and apple, peach and cherry picking in the orchards.

The Allegan County Tourist Council provides travel and tourism information in Allegan County, Michigan, including events, places to stay, places to taste, places to play, places to shop, and places or destinations to experience or visit.

Allegan County Parks consists of six (6) day use parks, three (3) campgrounds & 60 miles of equestrian trails:
