Whether you are interested in festivals, local shops & restaurants, weddings & events, cultural experiences, or plentiful outdoor activities, Cadillac has exactly what you need.

Spring: Cadillac in the Spring is something to behold! The Mesick Mushroom Festival nearby brings more and more hunters every year. Walk, bike, or run any of our 200+ miles of trails, some of which are close to town and around the lakeshore! Between Lake Mitchell, Lake Cadillac, the Pine River, and the Manistee River, the options for fishing, kayaking, tubing, and more are endless! Walk along Lake Cadillac and view the sculptures, murals, and Veteran’s Memorial Park. Explore the Wexford County Historical Museum and Carnegie Library, then visit the Cadillac Sound Garden.

Summer: The summer season is perfect for our Freedom Festival, with live music, carnival rides, delicious food, fireworks, and a craft show. The Festival of the Arts comes in full swing, with live music, food, art sales, and community activities. Outside of the wonderful festivals, there are 7 golf courses throughout the Cadillac area, each with its own special features and views. There are also 5 disc golf courses within the Cadillac area, such as the Kenwood Park Disc Golf Course that follows Lake Cadillac. When it comes to camping or getting more involved in nature, there are multiple options for campgrounds and cabins around Cadillac. You can find live music in Cadillac everywhere you look!

Fall: With Fall comes the Cadillac Craft Beer Festival, with Michigan made beers, ciders, mead, & spirits. The Craft Beer Festival also features live music, local vendors, delicious food, and yard games. Experience the beautiful fall colors with any of our 4 Fall Color Routes, or on our trails and rivers! There are also a variety of venues for a gorgeous Fall wedding, a work event, or family function. The possibilities never end with our local parks; you can read a book by the water, have a picnic with friends, or take the family out to the beach.

Winter: One of our most famous seasons for outdoor sports is the Winter. There are snowmobile trails, resorts for skiing, snowboarding, & cross-country skiing, as well fat tire trails, snowshoeing and ice fishing. After playing outside in the cold, warm up with some local drinks and meals at our restaurants.

Cadillac is also a perfect city to commute from. With convenient highway access from US 131, M-115, and M-55, the Cadillac area is a comfortable road trip from any direction. Some visitors enjoy staying in Cadillac to avoid the overflowing hotels and restaurants while exploring the Cherry Festival in Traverse City. The day trip possibilities are endless! Explore the coast of Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes, a wine tour in Leelanau, and more!
