Amber Sands Resort

Amber Sands Resort's six delightful, housekeeping cottages are situated on 3 acres of mature hardwood in the heart of Leelanau County. Our resort is on the sunset (eastern) side of 18 mile long South Lake Leelanau. Our lake is a wonderful general use lake, ideal for boating, sailing, swimming and fishing. The lake is home to walleye, pike, large and small mouth bass, perch, brown trout, and whitefish to name but a few species. Our cottages are equipped w/microwaves, coffee makers, kitchen toaster, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, shower or bathtub & color cable T.V. An aluminum boat is furnished w/cottage, walking docks, & protected boat moorings for guests' crafts. We rent weekly in the summer, our rates range in price from $625 to $775.
