Harbour View Inn: A Historic Haven on Mackinac Island

Harbour View Inn has been providing historic, comfortable, and charming accommodations for decades. The chateau, originally built in 1820, was the retirement home for a famed fur trader, Magdline Laframboise, and served as a single-family home into the 1990s when it became the notable inn it is today. With 80 guest rooms & suites, and four buildings with a variety of room types it is the perfect place to call home during your Mackinac Island stay. Amenities include a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, onsite bike rentals, and our lobby coffee, tea, and water station.

Relax after a day of exploring on your balcony! Or take up a rocker in the Victorian gazebo surrounded by the lush gardens. Watch the horses and bikes go by on the front porch or second-story veranda. On cooler days the parlor serves as a lovely spot to unwind or take up a board game.

Memorial Day – Labor Day Bill’s Gill offers street-side, alfresco dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Featuring hamburgers, grilled sandwiches, street tacos, and children’s meals, it is the perfect place for a family to have a lunch break between bike rides!

With all that Mackinac Island has to offer, guests enjoy having a welcoming place to unwind after taking it all in. Harbour View Inn truly becomes a home away from home!
